Steering Reservoir and Oil Changed - Oil From Cap?

Hi,

After changing steering reservoir and oil, I noticed some days after that the exterior of reservoir got some oil (very small quantity) like humidity, nothing like big leaking.

It might be dropping oil out via the cap breather?

I noticed the cap has some oil but nothing in excess, might be who done the change overfilled it?

No noises from direction, nothing. All fine.

Any input is highly appreciated.

Po zmianie zbiornika układu kierowniczego i oleju zauważyłem, że kilka dni później na zewnątrz zbiornika pojawiło się trochę oleju (bardzo mała ilość), takiego jak wilgoć, nic takiego jak duże nieszczelności.

Może to wylewa olej przez odpowietrznik korka?

Zauważyłem, że w korku jest trochę oleju, ale nic nie jest w nadmiarze, może ktoś, kto dokonał zmiany, przepełnił go?

Brak dźwięków z kierunku, nic. Wszystko w porządku.

Is the oil foamed up after a drive? Is the reservoir brand new or used?

Oil is not foamed. Reservoir brand new and original yes it is.

Are you sure you got rid of the air from the system after changing the oil? What kind of oil did you use? Was it Petronas Tutela? If so what was the oil color, red or green?

It's strange the problem appears in the brand new reservoir. A leaking cap is a pretty common problem mostly caused by a tired circular sieve inside the reservoir. So this is why I'm asking about the air - it can just break the pressure balance.

I used green oil of course.

I noticed the cap was not correctly closed, so it can caused the problem or not?

Now it is well closed.

How can I get rid of air on system?

I do not think it is a reservoir problem. It is brand new.

Yeah, the cap is probably the reason

To get rid of the air you have to open the cap and, having the engine on, turn the steering wheel from the far right to the far left. Repeat it 3-4 times. After each time check the oil level and add some if needed.

It was done when it was filled, so the air is not the problem. Might be the cap, I will clean all well then check if any leak.
