[159] Alfa Romeo 159 SW 2011 Rain and Dusk sensor problem

Good day,
I have some problems with my 159 2011, i cant figure it out whats wrong. The diagnostics shows me 2 errors. B1041 (rain sensor) and B1040 (dusk sensor). B does mean its a BODY fault ?. I tried replace rain sensor several times and the faults remains. The car was checked by an electromechanic and he said the electricity in the car is ok, he didnt find any problems. I checked all fuses and they are all OK. If it is a BODY computer fault, so should i try reprogramming BODY computer or buy a new one ?

When you replaced rain sensor, you calibrated it?

It seems you have a problem with wiring.
Check if that cable is properly attached in the socket:


Check also in proxy if both sensors are activated.
