Różnica pomiędzy transaxle, a transversale.

Witam, sory za raczej zbędny temat ale jaka jest różnica pomiędzy transaxle w alfach, a transversale w, np. Ferrari ?
Chodzi o to, że silnik w ferrari jest z tyłu i skrzynia też ? Chodzi o model 348 :)

transversale - silnik wzdłużnie, skrzynia poprzecznie

Generalnie trans - axle, czyli oś (dyfer) i skrzynia w jednym. W zasadzie każda przednionapędówka jest transaxle, jak i każde ferrari czy inne auto z silnikiem umieszczonym centralnie. Jakoś tak się utarło, że nazwa to taki exclusive dla aut, których silniki zgubiły skrzynie gdzieś z tyłu ;)

Ja to widzę inaczej, i nie tylko ja.Transaxle, czyli międzyosiowy, inaczej mówiąc silnik na jednej osi a skrzynia z dyfrem na drugiej.

Nie mogę znaleźć jakiegoś schematu budowy, a wtedy bym może to zrozumiał ;p

"In the automotive field, a transaxle is a major mechanical component that combines the functionality of the transmission, the differential, and associated components of the driven axle into one integrated assembly.
Transaxles are near universal in all automobile configurations that have the engine placed at the same end of the car as the driven wheels: the front-engine, front-wheel drive layout, rear-engine, rear-wheel drive layout and rear mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout arrangements.
Many mid- and rear-engined vehicles use a transverse engine and transaxle, similar to a front wheel drive unit.
