can you explain, why you use plate?
[MENTION=66608]acab[/MENTION], now I'm building 2.0 Turbo engine, so 1.6 is unwanted. Plate is for strengthen the cylinder block, especially main bearing caps. Maybe in the future I'll put bigger turbo, and cylinder block will be prepared for bigger mods. Cost of the plate is a small piece of total costs(Wossner pistons etc.). I bought Toolox44 steel to make plate. If you want I can make two plates, because I had to buy 1000mm long piece of steel. If you want to install plate according to my idea, you have to match upper surface of main caps(with some surplus eg.0.03mm-0.05mm) with lower deck of cylinder block. Be aware that main caps are different height. There two ways to make this modification. First is to measure protrusion of each one main cup, then mill them according to measured protrusion and height. I used digital dial gauge taken from 3rd stage bosch, so measurement Załącznik 217386 Second, mill upper surface with main caps installed into cylinder block. The second is of course better, but you have to mill surface where normally bolt is installed.
Płyta do wytaczania i honowania bloku zrobiona. Teraz tylko obróbka bloku i lecimy dalej.

Gicior, każdy mój Renówkowy blok jest pod kuciznę obrabiany właśnie z płytą symulacyjną - dużo lepiej zachowuje się wymiar cylindra w górnej części po takiej obróbce. Like !!!Cytat:
