Alfa 159 Plafonier Dome Leds Red

Hi,
Anyone could tell me when this red lights turns on?

On mine if headlights are on (even in auto) or off it does not turn on, it only turn on when the interior is dark, like at night. Otherwise if you look at it on daytime they are always off. it seems to be working with the darkness?

I checked on other 159 and this lights are ALWAYS on, day, night, headlights on, off, auto.

What can be?

Is this normal and depends on software?

Isn't it ambient light? When dusk sensor is not available, it will be activated simultaneously with headlights on I suppose.

The lights show up only when the interior is dark, otherwise you can turn on headlights on sun or else they won't turn on.

It makes sense, maybe depends on manufacturer year, but generally it is not on, it only turns on when detects interior dark.
