Multifunction steering wheel

Hello everyone, I would like to know if in my 166 diesel 2005 is the preparation of the plug to connect a steering wheel with steering wheel .... my unfortunately does not have them !!!
Some time ago I tried to remove the steering wheel but did not want to learn to get out .... I had also left in traction using a pulling all night but nothing.

Buy a steering wheel with controls is not a problem ...... but I have to find out first if the mine is Already prepared.
You can also put the wheel of the 147 or 156 restyling ??

Steering wheel of 147 and 156 do not match. If you do not have cables under the wheel you do it yourself. See diagram in eLearn.

About restyling, steering wheel for 147 and 156 have different internal spline, unfortunately they will not match.

All ICS for alfa 166 FL are able to work with multifunction steering wheel but air-bag contact need to have option E245 - two plugs (yellow for the air bag and black 4pins for multifunction controls). Easy to check by disassemby covers under the steering wheel.

You do not have to remove the steering wheel. Take off only the covers as shown below. Have a look on the left side of the steering column, the plugs are placed/locked on the lower cover.



If there is only one plug keep in mind that while you buying steering with multifunction control when ask about airbag contact with two plugs.
In the worst case scenario all you need is 4 missing wires

Perfect, tomorrow I remove the cover under the steering wheel and control .... I also do a couple of pictures for safety.
PS is always the problem when I have to change the wheel

Good morning my friends, I removed the lid and found this connector circled in red ..... this is the connector to the steering wheel?
If so, I can prove it by connecting the wires to see the response of the ICS (increased volume etc ...)?
