Hell Alfista,
thanks for your kind comments. About the 100 Anni. I will not be there in person, as I have not seen any program yet and as Fiat has closed and demolished the entire factory, incl Centro Stile and Museo Storico. Oh, June is a terrible period to be in Milano.
Anyway, i have been tere for more than 40 years. I do not like the motorways so we always go on the national roads, i.e. no fees and no tunnels.
A very good choice from Poland is to go via Kempten/Füssen and then to Italy via Switzerland. Road 124. Straight over the Alps. Or, via Vierwaldstättersee and Passo Lucamano - Bellinzona - Lago Maggiore, east side to Laveno.

Scenic roads and perfect for an Alfa. From Laveno you can go by train to Milano. Around the Lago Maggiore there are lots of places to visit and see. It is one hour from Arese BTW and one hour from San Giulio at lago d'Orta. More

with photos and details of the tours I have organized. I whish you good luck and remember, in Switzerland you need the fee to go on the motorways, in Austria on all roads. In Swotzerland the national roads are better and more scenic. Lots of winding passages makes you Alfa happy.
Another good option is via Mulhouse/Basel and the Bugatti Museum. Then south via Bern and Kandersteg over the Alps and Simplonpass. To Lago d'orta.
